RAMALLAH, West Bank: A Palestinian man was in stable condition Friday after being shot by Israeli troops during a protest in the West Bank against Israeli settlements, a hospital spokesman said. Malek Tammimi, 22, was in good condition after surgery to his stomach, the Ramallah hospital spokesman told AFP.
